sorry I haven't posted a new episode in a while, here's a few for you all!!!

Show dedicated to Barton Yarborough, after his sudden death of a heart attack at age 51. His character, Ben Romero, dies suddenly of a heart attack, and we see(hear) a rare glimpse of the softer side of Joe Friday.

The final episode with Barton Yarborough. Barton was Jack's first longstanding partner, Ben Romero on the DRAGNET series, as well as being a well accomplished radio actor. He died shortly after this episode of a heart attack at age 51.

Another of Jack Webb's non-DRAGNET series. Jack Webb was crazy for the jazz!!! To the point that he pushed for this series, about a jazz musician who also solves mysteries.

Second ever episode of DRAGNET, but first existing episode. The first episode was lost to the ravages of time. Very interesting also that they hadn't come up with the famous theme music yet, so no "DUM DEE DUM DUM."

Not a dragnet episode, but one of Jack Webb's earlier hard-boiled detective series. I like this one because Jack's not playing such a tight-ass, more of a smart-ass.
